Cheapo does not require customer registration. This policy describes the information used by the service.
What we store
We store search terms, search timestamps, retailer clicks, price reports and messages submitted through the contact form. If you provide an email address with feedback, it is saved with your message. Please do not enter sensitive personal information in searches.
Why we store it
Search and click records help us understand demand and connection quality. Reports help us recheck prices. Technical rate limits protect the service against abuse. We do not store customer payment details because purchases happen at retailers.
Access and retention
Administrator access uses Cloudflare Access and is restricted to the owner. Visitors do not need to sign in. Scheduled maintenance removes search and click events older than 90 days in batches; expired rate-limit identifiers are also removed. Store records and price reports remain until the administrator removes them or handles a deletion request.
Retailers and hosting
Search queries are sent to active retailer connections. Opening a deal takes you to a third-party website with its own privacy practices. The hosting provider processes requests to serve and protect this site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the requests needed to deliver them. There are no advertising or third-party analytics scripts in this version.
